Harry Potter coloring book series
There are a few Harry Potter coloring books to choose from, and truthfully, we’ve enjoyed them all! If you haven’t already snagged one, we recommend grabbing a copy of the Best of Harry Potter Coloring: Celebratory Edition – it has all of our favorite illustrations from the Harry Potter Coloring Book, Harry Potter Magical Creatures Coloring Book, and Harry Potter Magical Places & Characters Coloring Book, along with several exclusive, never-before-seen images.
Celebration Edition, $11.99 on Amazon | Original HP coloring book, $9.97
Magical Creatures, $4.99 | Places and Characters, $8.99
Our favorite fantasy television show brings its scheming characters, bloody battles, and incredulous mysteries to black and white illustrations for us to tackle! Turn Geoffry into a clown (revenge is sweet) and honor those characters who were gone too soon. Plus it has some of our favorite dragon coloring book illustrations to date (like the one pictured)!
$10.92 on Amazon | $10.94 on Amazon
A World of Dragons coloring book
A variety of incredible dragons adorn the 31 pages of this book, ranging from mountain dragons soaring through the skies to crystal dragons fighting in an open field. This is one of our top recommendations for fans of the Cycle!
Lord of the Rings: Tolkien’s World coloring book
Tolkien’s world is largely credited for being the one to inspire fantasy stories as we know them. The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Hobbit novel come to life in this incredible collection of scenes to color, including epic battles, favorite characters, and heart-wrenching scenes!
A galaxy far, far away is now at your mercy! Harness the powers of your inner Force – and creativity – to color your way through your favorite Star Wars characters, scenes, and locations, in this stunning book filled with 128 pages of stunning pen-and-ink illustrations!
Dragons, unicorns, griffins and other mythical creatures morph and explode into astounding detail throughout this coloring book, which beautifully illustrates the fantasy images we’ve all imagined. Plus, while coloring, hunt for hidden clues and objects spread throughout the book, adding another exciting layer to this already entertaining tome!
The Beauty of Horror: A GOREgeous coloring book
For those who enjoyed the darker parts of the Inheritance Cycle, such as the Ra’zac’s haunting cave, Nasuada’s burrow grubs experience, and the sickening rituals of Helgrind’s demented priests, comes the Beauty of Horror coloring book! But can anything out-creep the burrow grub scene…?
Enchanted Forest coloring book
This isn’t just a coloring book – it’s a story told via beautiful illustrations and puzzles that you color along your journey through a fantastical forest toward your destination: a mysterious castle! Medieval buildings, treasure chests, and other magical elements add a fairy tale narrative to the designs.
Honorable mentions:
- Doctor Who coloring book – Christopher has included a few nods to this classic scifi show in the Inheritance Cycle, not to mention the long running theory that Angela is a Time Lord herself. The Whoniverse may span space and time, but it’s been condensed into a nifty coloring book format for us to tackle with markers, pencils, and crayons.
- Avatar: The Last Airbender coloring book – A surprising amount of Inheritance Cycle fans love Nickelodeon’s hit animated series, Avatar: The Last Airbender (we’ll pretend the movie doesn’t exist). Color your favorite characters in this epic book filled with pen-and-ink illustrations!
- Zombie Apocalypse coloring book – Because it’s a whole new way to prep for the impending zombie takeover! Why else?!
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer coloring book – The early 2000’s return in this classic throwback for Buffy fans to enjoy!
- Bob’s Burgers coloring book – Because why not? This animated show is hysterical and entertaining and we imagine the coloring book is as well.
- Supernatural coloring book – One of the CW’s longest-running TV shows, and a universal fan-favorite among fantasy and scifi fans, makes its coloring book debut!
- BBC’s Sherlock coloring book – Okay, not strictly fantasy or scifi, but who isn’t a fan of the BBC’s incredible Sherlock show?
- Firefly: Serenity coloring book – Firefly was canceled too soon (thanks, Fox!), but its fanbase will never die. Following up on the television show and movie is an epic coloring book featuring our favorite characters, locations, and yes, Serenity itself!
- Marvel: Avengers, Civil War coloring book – Missing your favorite Avengers while we wait for new movies to hit the big screen this summer? Wait no longer! Color your own version of Tony Stark’s suit, Captain America’s shield, and Spider-Man’s webs!
