Christopher Paolini has been a busy man on his Twitter account! Since joining the social update site in November, the author has logged over 1,000 “tweets” — which he celebrated by giving away a signed copy of Inheritance — and has answered hundreds of fan questions in the process. Yesterday, Christopher used his Twitter account to announce that in addition to playing Skyrim, he’s returned to work writing… jumping back into a science fiction short story which he began writing on tour. It’s clear that Christopher’s short story will introduce his next book, which he has teased as being a scifi title (obviously independent from the Inheritance cycle) since finishing Inheritance.
We have no timetable for Christopher’s short story project, so don’t get your hopes up just yet for a soon-to-be-released book from the author. However, it’s clear that good things are already in the making and we may not have to wait too long to get our hands on the next Paolini project.
