Fox contacted us yesterday to let us know that once again the trailer for Eragon has been delayed from the release on Aug. 25 (Invincible). The reason they gave us is the same as before, that the incredibly complex Saphira CGI is not yet ready for public release.
A major part of the Eragon budget is invested in Saphira, and ILM/WETA is breaking new ground in their CGI creation, and as such it is taking much longer than a normal CGI. Fox has not yet given us a new release estimate, but we do know that it will not be until the CGI is perfect.
Again, please remember that Shur’tugal has no control over the trailer or its release, we only report the news. We can only hope that the trailer releases soon, and that Saphira looks great.
