Eragon - The Name

Eragon... Let the sound ring through your mind..... Name of the first rider- and, years later, a rider who will set the world on a whole new path..... As coincidence, possibly- or.... maybe fate?

Eragon - The Life

On a quest of revenge to destroy the Ra'zac, Eragon embarks on a perilous quest with his beloved newfound dragon, Saphira, and his friend, the mysterious Brom, who seems to know much about dragons. As he searches for these creatures of destruction, he discovers many enemies and allies, including Angela, a cheerful weir witch who foretells Eragon's future, and Solembum, her knowledgeable and full-of-dignity cat. It isn't until he flees Dras-Leona that he lives a true horror- the death of Brom. As the pursuers were attempting to kill both Eragon, Saphira, and Brom, a young man by the name of Murtagh comes to the rescue. By this point, however, Brom is without hope and soon, before death, reveals that he, too, was once a rider. Murtagh seems to be hiding something, but of what, Eragon not yet knows. They continue on for a short time, when Eragon gets imprisoned in Gil'ead and is visited by a horrific creature, a shade by the name of Durza. Murtagh and Saphira soon free Eragon and a beautiful elf by the name of Arya, who seems to be in a state of comatose. Eragon mentally contacts her with the Ancient Language and discovers that she has been poisoned, and her only hope is for Eragon to go to the Varden (a faction that opposes Galbatorix, the evil king) for a cure, the thing of which Murtagh adamantly refuses to do for a reason unknown. He promises to accompany Eragon to the Varden, but leave several miles before. With an army of Cowls, giant Urgals (yet another enemy of Eragon that happens to be superhuman) on their tails, the group races to the Varden's secret home. In the end, Eragon discovers that Murtagh is hated by the Varden simply for being Galbatorix's son, a fact of which few know. Murtagh ends up escorting Eragon all the way to the Varden, who defeat the army of Cowls but imprison Murtagh until he will let them read his mind, which he refuses. The Varden heals Arya and treats Eragon overall with respect, and, in time, Murtagh admits that being imprisoned makes him feel safer than he ever has before. Angela also is discovered in the home of the Varden. Arya proves herself to be an excellent warrior as well as a magic caster. The silence before the storm. Soon, an army larger than ever believed of Urgals is found to be coming for the Varden, and all prepares for war. When the war takes place, it soon becomes clear that the chance of survival is far less than slim. When all seems to be lost, Eragon battles and kills Durza, a feat known only by two-and now three-in history. As the Urgal clans no longer are under the enchanting power of the shade, they turn on each other, as Urgals normally would. When in a state of sleep, Eragon is contacted by a good voice who protects his sanity to come with Arya to the elves- but to tell no one of the conversation. When Eragon awakes, he finds that the Varden have won- and for proving himself in battle, Murtagh is freed. Angela, Arya, and many others were not killed. This is the beginning of Eragon's sure-to-be legendary life- of what we know for know, anyway. What we shall know in the future- only time shall tell....

Eragon - The Looks

Eragon is a 16 year old farm boy - well was, he's now a Dragon Rider.  Eragon is skinny and muscular.  He lost all of his baby fat during his long journies of fleeing the Empire.  He is tall and has brom hair with thick eyebrows.  Soon he'll have pointed ears.
