Christopher Paolini at Comic-Con 2011: Day One Gallery!

Christopher Paolini attended a panel, signing, and sketched at his booth this year at Comic-Con… and we were there to cover it all! Our day one summary provides a great reading experience surrounding each of his events, and this gallery offers the perfect visual compliment so that fans who were unable to experience the event can still view it through our eyes. Continue reading for the gallery!

I love that he had Eldest with him during the panel (my favorite of the cycle so far haha). That dragon eye sketch is wicked cool too!

    • The Clockwork Angel

If he wanted, he has the talent to draw his own book covers! This guy has MASSIVE talent!

          • You are Correct. Jonh Jude Palancar Drew the covers for all four books, and Christopher honored his work by namin Palancar Valley after him.

          • SSW

CP drew the cover for his self published book, the black and white one of the dragon eye.  Palancar drew the ones for the Random House editions.

        • For the Inheritance Cycle books? That was a paid artist, whom makes dragon book art all the time and has a fantastic Deviant Art account. The first three book covers are there, and once book four is released then it’ll go on there too. He also drew some other dragons in the same style (just the head), like a Steampunk one and some other things.

Paolini might have sketched them, though he didn’t make the final cover.
