eemm, really don’t know. But we all know galbatorix is much more powerfull than any other is Alagëasia… except, of course, Eragon.
But, maybe, we’ll have an answer for that question in the 4th book!

In Brisingr when Eargon is fighting Vraugh he wraps his mind around Vraughs to prevent him attacking Arya and Saphira. Why then can’t Earagon use this same technique on Galbatorix and sever his contact with the eldunari. Then Earagon would be able to slay him at will assuming Mutagh and Thorn are out of the picture.

I don’t mean for this to sound harsh, but when is the interview going up?

  • Chris

The interview has been completed. We’re just waiting for Random House to ok it before we can post it. Should be fairly soon though.

  • Ruydragon

Can we get a fresh update on something? This one has been up there since the last day of July. Did Chris make up a name for the 4th title yet? if so I’d be glad to know. I can tell that the chapter “brains” means that it would take ‘brains’ for someone to figure out a problem.

It’s always interesting to hear an author speak about another author’s work…..

My daughter and I saw Christopher speak at the Steinbeck festival. (We live in MA but were in CA on vacation) We’ve seen Christopher 3 times before and continued to be very impressed by his public speaking -his thoughtful comments on Steinbeck, the writing process, how an author’s home landscape can be an integral part of the stories they create, Arthurian legend and parallels to Eragon, and a lively question and answer session made for a terrific time .
Of course, when Christopher signed books he took time to speak briefly with each person.

Just can’t say enough good things about Christopher Paoini.

PS- Mike- I love what you’ve done to the site!

Please use the feedback form for questions unrelated to a news post.

The comment counters was broken, resulting in incredible page load time. We disabled them until we can develop a fix.

    W.A.T.N. will continue eventually.

  • Glorfindel

Are you guys going to continue the W.A.T.N.??

  • Glorfindel

How come, instead of having the number of comments, there’s just a %% sign instead?

  • MeghanSwiftSword

Wow, that sounds REALLY cool. Wish I could go…. but I don’t have my own email. Darn. Sounds really beast though, I’ve always loved fantasy stories.

  • Daniel
