The MPAA today released their official rating for the upcoming Eragon movie. The rating was PG (Parental Guidance Suggested) for “Fantasy Violence, Intense Battle Sequences, and some Frightening Images”. This is a lower rating than was expected by many fans, and indeed, the Shur’tugal staff, who expected the rating and content level of Eragon to warrant a PG-13 rating from the MPAA. Tickets for Eragon go on advanced sale soon at cinemas across the United States, and internationally.
The official rating of Eragon by the MPAA is a signal that the movie is finished.
