More Eldest Limited Edition Information

Though we have been reporting that the new edition of Eldest would carry over the ‘Deluxe Edition’ title, we are now able to officially report to you that the book has taken up a new title, being called the Eldest Limited Edition. The book is going to cost a few dollars more the Eldest, with Random House providing a cover price of $24, but will definitely be worth the money. The book will contain:

    – An excerpt from Book III
    – An exclusive, full-color foldout poster of Glaedr by John Jude Palencar
    – A revealing excerpt of the history of Alagaësia
    – A drawing by Christopher of Brom’s elf ring
    – A complete and comprehensive list of people, places, things, and dwarf clans

With the news of an excerpt of Book III, this new edition of Eldest sounds like it’s going to be even better than the Eragon Deluxe Edition! The Eldest Limited Edition is set to release on September 26, 2006.

Update: We’ve also been told that the Eldest Limited Edition will include a drawing of Thorn’s eye, like the drawing of Saphira’s, drawn by Christopher.
