The Christopher Paolini Scrapbook, which over 1000 of you contributed to, finally went out to Christopher. After receiving the scrapbook and reading all of your comments, Christopher sent us this thank you:
Dear Contributors to the Christopher Paolini Scrapbook:
Wow. You guys are some of the most devoted fans in the world! I was impressed by the scrapbook you gave me in 2004, and I’m doubly so by this latest masterpiece. Of all the things I expected as a result of being published, receiving birthday presents from my readers certainly never entered my mind. It humbles me to think of the amount of work each and every one of you lavished upon this project. As far as I’m concerned, your scrapbook is worthy of being placed alongside the greatest works shelved within the vast libraries of Tronjheim and Tialdarí Hall.
Eka elrun ono, fricäya pömnuria. I thank you, my friends.
Your demonstration has won you the undying appreciation of this author, and I promise that, in return, I shall strive to tell the the very best stories I can. As Saphira would say, “Hunting for yourself is good, but hunting for another is better.”
May your swords stay sharp,
Christopher Paolini
Pictures of the scrapbook itself as well as Christopher with the scrapbook will be posted soon!
