After a long week of working hard to get the media from my trip to NYC up, we’ve finally done it. Thanks to Christopher Paolini, Eldon Thompson, Judith Haut, and the rest of the Random House staff, I was able to attend events that I never dreamt I’d be able to attend. There’s nothing more fun than getting to sit down at lunch with your favorite author, only to have a normal conversation, getting to meet Eldon Thompson (author of The Crimson Sword), attending BookExpo America, and getting to cruise New York City’s harbor with people who help make the site what it is.
After each night, I was able to get on my laptop and type up reports of the day’s events. You can read both accounts below:
Day one – BookExpo America, Eldon Thompson, and Christopher
Day two – Lunch with Christopher, and a Random House Cruise
I was unable to take pictures at BookExpo America, but I was able to take pictures at lunch and on the cruise. All the pictures can be viewed on this page. Each picture is on the image viewer and has captions, so you’ll be able to tell who is who!
If you’re interested in hearing the audio from the interview I had with Christopher during lunch, you can listen to it here. We’re still working on a transcript, so check back for that shortly. Enjoy!
