Well, the C.D.P. (formerly known as the “C.A.P., or Chris Appreciation Project”) arrived at Christopher Paolini’s house today, and shortly after it arrived I got an email from Christopher… here’s what he had to say:
Mike: Wow! What can I say? I never expected you or the rest of the
fans to make such a wonderful present for my birthday. It’s both
touching and inspiring . . . how can I ever get writer’s block when I
know that so many people have enjoyed Eragon? I’m very, very impressed
by the amount of work that you and everyone else put into this
project. Please extend my deepest thanks to everyone involved. You can
also tell them to look for a very big mention in this month’s
newsletter : )
